Site Manager / Construction Manager – Precast

We are urgently seeking an experienced Site Manager or Construction Manager with a strong background in precast concrete to join a major project in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position on a high-profile scheme, with approximately two years of work available for the right individual.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing precast installation and, ideally, a strong background in quality checking and quality assurance of precast units, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the installation and coordination of precast concrete elements on site
• Managing subcontractors, site teams, and daily site activities
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Reviewing precast units for defects, tolerances, and installation quality
• Maintaining QA records, inspection reports, and associated documentation
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard
• Liaising closely with engineers, clients, and project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on precast concrete projects
• Strong knowledge of precast installation methods, quality standards, and QA processes
• Experience with quality checking, snagging, and inspection of precast units is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
• Ability to start immediately or at short notice

This is an immediate requirement for a highly experienced individual who can take ownership of the precast package and ensure quality and delivery standards are maintained throughout the project.
