Site Manager – Cambridge – £55,000 + Company Van

Fairmead are recruiting an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a regional main contractor delivering projects across Cambridge and the surrounding area.

This is a permanent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work, overseeing projects from site set-up through to completion.

The Role

  • Managing day-to-day site operations

  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard

  • Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers

  • Managing site logistics and health & safety

  • Monitoring quality and programme performance

  • Reporting progress to the Contracts Manager and client team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor

  • Experience delivering new build and/or refurbishment projects

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)

  • Comfortable managing projects in busy city-centre environments
