Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential apartment project in Leeds. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in residential construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
- Monitor progress and maintain high standards of quality
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues promptly
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate site records and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential/apartment projects
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
- First Aid at Work certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines effectively
Desirable
- Experience working on multi-unit apartment developments
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor certification
