Site Manager – Residential Apartments (6-Month Contract)

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential apartment project in Leeds. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
  • Monitor progress and maintain high standards of quality
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues promptly
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate site records and reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential/apartment projects
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred)
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines effectively

Desirable

  • Experience working on multi-unit apartment developments
  • Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor certification
