About this Role:

Ambitious Site Manager required to work on a large £50m+ new build scheme near Salisbury, Wiltshire, which is starting on site later this year for a 24 month programme of works.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all site-based construction activities for your area / packages including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, logistics, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.

About the Company:

This opportunity is with the busy regional Southampton office of a leading Tier1 national main contractor with circa £100m annual turnover in the region, and a proven track record in the delivery of new build and refurbishment schemes in the education, defence, local authority, blue light, commercial and student accommodation and sport/leisure sectors.

Typical patch covers Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of experience as a Site Manager, will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.

Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail.

You will have sound planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.

You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.

You will be experienced in the Site Management role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery placing safety, quality, positive client relationship and supply chain relationships as priorities.
