Freelance Site Manager – Internal Fit-Out

Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work on a project in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

We are looking for a Site Manager with previous experience managing internal fit-out projects, who will take responsibility for running the internal and fit-out side of the project through to completion.

This is a 3-month temporary contract for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the internal and fit-out works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the internal and fit-out works through to completion.
• Leading and coordinating all trades on site.
• Communicating effectively with subcontractors and site teams.
• Organising labour, materials and deliveries.
• Calling off materials and ensuring they are available when required.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Coordinating trades to ensure the works progress efficiently.
• Monitoring progress against the programme.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• Resolving site issues and ensuring works remain on programme.
• Providing strong leadership and communication across the site.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on internal fit-out projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• A proactive approach to managing site activities.
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a project in Portsmouth on a 3-month temporary contract.
