Site Manager – Freelance Location:   Leeds
Rate:         £260-£280 per day Start:        Immediate
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of an industrial building on the outskirts of Leeds. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.   Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing internal refurbishment  
  • Coordinate multiple subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Manage programme delivery and monitor progress against project timelines
  • Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reporting
  • Manage logistics, materials and site resources effectively
  Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with regional contractor ideally with healthcare experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery
Essential Qualifications
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS (Black or Gold Card)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ/Degree desirable)
