Our client is a well-established and highly respected main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across London.



They specialise in:
High-end residential construction and refurbishment
Commercial construction and fit-out
Luxury property renovations


Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are looking to appoint two experienced Site Managers to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Projects

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing one of the following prestigious schemes:

A £6m demolition and new-build commercial/retail development.
An £8m refurbishment of seven luxury apartments, incorporating significant structural alterations and high-end finishes.


The Role



Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing all on-site activities from commencement through to completion.
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme and project specifications.
Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
Carrying out regular site inspections and quality control checks.
Managing site logistics and sequencing of works.
Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management.
Resolving on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Ensuring projects are completed to an exceptional standard, particularly within high-end environments.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Site Manager with a reputable main contractor.
Experience delivering high-end residential, commercial or refurbishment projects.
Strong knowledge of structural works and finishing trades.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.

SMSTS
CSCS Managers Card
First Aid at Work
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
