We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager based at our Nuneaton Packed Products Site.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage the site to deliver safe and efficient operations by leading site personnel to meet or improve upon targets for safety, cost, productivity, quality and delivery.
- Ensure fulfilment of required product to agreed specification on time, in full and within agreed cost parameters.
- Take ownership and accountability for site budget and drive Continuous Improvement projects to improve performance across all KPI areas.
- Manage and be accountable for all site management systems, and ensure all accreditations, legislative requirements and documentations are maintained as required by auditing bodies.
- Ensure all maintenance requirements are undertaken and plant & equipment is kept in an acceptable condition.
- Ensure that the site teams are managed appropriately and in accordance with Tarmac’s HR policies, Recruitment, training, succession planning, performance management, reviews, disciplinaries etc.
- Work closely with the Fulfilment, Logistics and Commercial teams to coordinate operational functions to improve business performance Support the technical team to ensure that product quality is maintained and issues resolved quickly
- Liaise with the Continuous Improvement team to aid decision making and priorities for the regional plants
- Lead Site team to achieve plans and targets Liaise with the HR Business Partner to ensure that the site teams are managed appropriately and according to Tarmac’s HR policies
- Achieve Tarmac safety performance targets
- Effective management of site resources to reduce cost per tonne
- Develop and drive a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Ideas to improve operational efficiencies and health & safety
- Management of site budgets
- Ensure product specifications & quality procedures are adequately monitored and non-compliance addressed
