Site Manager

SITE MANAGER REQUIRED – SOUTHAMPTON– MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS 

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project based at a school in Southampton.

Please note: Due to the nature of the site, candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS check. Applicants without the required DBS clearance will not be considered.

The project involves a programme of roof repairs and internal refurbishment works within a live school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Site Manager Key responsibilities:

• Managing subcontractors and site operations
• Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times
• Maintaining site records and completing relevant paperwork
• Coordinating works to meet programme deadlines
• Liaising with the client, contractors, and site teams

Site Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects
• Previous experience working in school, public sector, or similar environments is desirable
• Valid Enhanced DBS clearance (essential)
• SMSTS
• 1st Aid
• CSCS
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Good communication and organisational skills
