We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee weekend construction works on a live food manufacturing/production site in Gloucester.

Due to the nature of the environment, applicants must have previous experience managing construction works within the food manufacturing, food production or similar hygiene-controlled industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating weekend site activities
  • Overseeing subcontractors and trades on site
  • Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
  • Maintaining strict health, safety and hygiene standards
  • Conducting site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
  • Liaising with contractors, client representatives and site personnel
  • Ensuring RAMS and site documentation are adhered to
  • Managing works within a live/operational food environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid SMSTS
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Temporary Works qualification
  • Proven Site Management experience
  • Previous construction experience within food manufacturing / food production environments

Ideally, we are looking for someone local to Gloucester or within a reasonable travelling distance, due to the weekend nature of the works.
