An experienced Site Engineer is required to deliver complex groundworks and civil infrastructure for a major project in Cambridge. You will have experience of heavy civil works, deep drainage packages. Experience of underground service installations within a busy site would be helpful.
Key Responsibilities:

Substructure Setting Out: Accurately set out deep drainage networks, manhole structures, attenuation tanks, service ducting, and foundation levels.

As-Built Surveys & Data: Perform precise pre- and post-pour surveys, update as-built drawings, and verify line and level tolerances for deep excavations.

Service Avoidance & Permits: Conduct CAT & Genny scans, manage utility avoidance protocols, and issue permits to dig prior to ground disturbance.

Progress & Quality Reporting: Maintain detailed daily shift logs, complete site QA documentation, and coordinate directly with site gangs to keep pour schedules on track.
Requirements:

6+ years of hands-on site engineering experience on major commercial, industrial, or infrastructure schemes.

Heavy experience in deep drainage, attenuation systems, and bulk earthworks.

Proven ability to operate total stations / GPS instrumentation independently.
