The Role

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the effective day-to-day supervision and delivery of planned external works programmes within occupied and void social housing properties. Typical works include roofing renewals, window and door replacements, rainwater goods, external decorations, insulation, and associated refurbishment works.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating site activity, managing subcontractors, and working closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of planned complex maintenance and refurbishment works across multiple properties.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, productivity, and programme compliance.
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with health & safety requirements.
  • Coordinate site activity and sequencing to minimise disruption to residents.
  • Monitor quality standards and carry out inspections to ensure works meet specification.
  • Work closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to support smooth delivery.
  • Manage site logistics, materials, access arrangements, and maintain accurate site records.

About You

As a Site Supervisor, you will have:

  • Proven experience managing planned external maintenance or refurbishment works including windows and roofs.
  • Strong experience managing subcontractor-led delivery in occupied properties.
  • Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
  • Experience working within social housing or occupied environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site management.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
