Location: Cannon Street, City of London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 Weeks (£75 Standby Payment – Approx. £1,000 per annum)

The Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of a prestigious corporate office building located in the heart of Cannon Street.

This is a unique role offering complete responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the site. As the sole engineer on site, you will be trusted to manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, oversee specialist contractors, ensure statutory compliance, and act as the primary point of contact for the client.

The position would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to progress into a supervisory role, or an existing Site Supervisor seeking greater autonomy within a high-end commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the building's engineering services.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Manage and supervise specialist subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are completed and recorded.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports through CAFM systems.
• Build strong working relationships with the client and occupiers.
• Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Participate in the call-out rota (1 in 4 weeks).

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Experience supervising contractors or engineering operations.
• Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of building services systems.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a site autonomously.
• Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £50,000 basic salary
