Slinger role overview

The Slinger will be working on a live water pipeline installation, supporting lifting operations and general civils activity on site. Daily duties typically include:

• Slinging and signalling for lifting operations
• Working closely with crane and plant operators to ensure safe, efficient lifts
• Supporting general civils tasks when required
• Maintaining safe working practices within a water utility environment
• Assisting the site team to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements for the Slinger

To be considered for this Slinger position, you must have:

• Valid CSCS card
• EUSR (Water Hygiene) card
• Slinger/Signaller ticket
• Previous experience working as a Slinger on civil engineering or utilities projects
• Strong awareness of site safety and ability to work effectively within a team
