We're looking for a skilled technician to join the team at Swindon, carrying out high-quality cosmetic and minor body repairs to manufacturer standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys delivering vehicles to the highest possible standard.
The Role
As a Smart Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for restoring vehicles through a range of cosmetic and minor body repairs, ensuring exceptional vehicle presentation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out SMART repairs on scratches, dents, scuffs and minor panel damage
- Prepare surfaces for repair, including sanding, masking and paint preparation
- Mix and apply paint products to a consistently high standard
- Complete polishing and finishing work to achieve an excellent finish
- Repair or replace damaged panels in line with manufacturer standards
- Maintain workshop equipment and tools in safe working order
- Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements
- Assist with repair assessments and quotations where required
- Proven experience in SMART repair, cosmetic repair or vehicle body repair
- Strong paint and refinishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Up to £39,400 OTE
- 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
