SALARY: £40,777 - £45,091 (Grade 8) + £5,000 Market Supplement
TYPE: PERMANENT
HOURS: 37 per week (Mon-Fri). 
TEAM: Localities Team 

Job Overview

Join a supportive Localities Team where your safeguarding and child protection expertise will be highly valued. You'll handle complex cases, engage in court proceedings, and work collaboratively to protect vulnerable children and families.

Social Worker Requirement

-    Qualified & registered Social Workers (SWE registration required)
-    Significant frontline experience in child protection & safeguarding
-    Skilled in assessment, care planning, and concise report writing
-    Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
-    Ability to work flexibly under pressure as a team player
-    Car driver (essential)

Social Worker/Senior Practitioner Requirements

-    Proven  experience in working with childrens services
-    Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
-    Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
-    Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
