Overview:
Our client are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their team and manage the sourcing process for large business needs. This role will work closely with suppliers and include tender processes.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.
- Run fair and clear tender processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects by leveraging spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding processes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positions
- Experience managing tender processes
- Experience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in value
- Confident making decisions
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and business requirements.

Package:
- Up to £66,000 basic salary
