We are seeking a dedicated Sous Chef on behalf of our esteemed client to join a dynamic team in East Lothian. Working in a newly equipped kitchen with a fantastic team, you will have the opportunity to grow within a large, well-established company.
This countryside bistro is cooking to a great standard with local, fresh ingredients, and to a level on par with 1 AA rosette. With a competitive salary of circa £35,000 plus great tronc/tips (circa £6,000 per year), this is an opportunity not to be missed. This is an hourly paid position so you will be paid for every hour you work.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous/ Sous Chef
  • Demonstrated management skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Ability to thrive during busy weekend trade
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
  • A UK driving license with access to a vehicle due to location
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, fresh food in a similar setting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
