This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Sous Chef to join a well-established kitchen team within a characterful venue known for its welcoming atmosphere, elegant dining spaces and high-quality food offering. THE ROLE:

• Work under the guidance of the Executive Head Chef, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Help lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes across restaurant, private dining and event service.
• Maintain excellent standards of food presentation, consistency and kitchen organisation.
• Assist with ordering, stock control, GP awareness and waste management.
• Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are upheld at all times.

SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED:

• You will already have experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel, restaurant, pub or events environment.
• You will be confident, hands-on and calm under pressure.
• You will take pride in great food, strong service and a clean, organised kitchen.
• You will enjoy being part of a friendly team where standards matter and everyone supports one another.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

• £35,000 per annum.
• 48-hour working week.

EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL SHIFT PATTERNS:

• 7am – 3pm
• 2pm – 10pm
• 12pm – 10pm
• 9am – 2.30pm, then 5.30pm – 10pm
