  • Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 per day, DOE
  • Temporary Contract: Long-term cover
  • Full-Time Vacancy: (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Spanish Teacher Specification

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and qualified Spanish Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Birmingham area. This full-time role is set to begin in September 2026 and is initially a temporary position, with a strong potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons, encouraging curiosity, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

  • Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Safeguarding Level 1 trained (we can support with this if needed)
  • Valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
