Supply Desk are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Primary or Secondary Sports Coach to join a friendly and supportive school in the Watford area from September.
This exciting full-time opportunity is suited to a sports coach who is passionate about physical education, pupil development and creating an engaging and inclusive sporting environment. The school is looking for an individual who can inspire pupils to participate in sport, develop their confidence and teamwork skills, and encourage them to achieve their best.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured PE lessons and sporting activities across the school, supporting pupils of different abilities and ages. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community through involvement in enrichment activities, school events, competitions, lunchtime activities and extra-curricular clubs.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and sporting activities to pupils across Primary or Secondary age groups
- Support and encourage pupils to develop their sporting ability, confidence and teamwork skills
- Monitor and track pupil participation and progress
- Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities, sports clubs and after-school programmes
- Support school sports events, competitions and enrichment activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and participation throughout all sporting activities
Requirements:
- Relevant sports coaching qualification, teaching qualification or experience working within an educational setting
- Experience delivering sports or PE sessions to children or young people
- Passion for sport, physical education and the development of learning
- Excellent behaviour and group management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of different ages and abilities
- Inclusive ethics
- Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
