Sportswear Key Account Manager in Slateford, City of Edinburgh

A successful and fast growing organisation are looking for an experienced Sportswear Account Manager to join their team.

You will be managing the day to day running of the business key sportwear customers, with a key part in ensuring the continued success of the company’s own brand as well as 3rd party brand partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the core sportswear requirement for existing accounts along with new sportswear enquiries across the UK
• Manage the direct supply of staff and team sportswear
• Building and executing longer term strategic account plans and pro-actively identifying new and additional business opportunities
• Build and maintain a high level of customer relationships
• Contribute to the overall development of business through management of selling events and assisting in branches during the back-to-school period
• Brand development of their own sportswear branch, including brand awareness marketing
• Playing a key part in new business acquisition process
• Liaise with the Buying Department, branch managers and customer services regarding any sportswear changes

What the employer is looking for:

• Knowledge of bespoke sportswear products, fabric sourcing, design and manufacture
• Knowledge of available stock supported ranges

• Experience within the sportswear industry essential
• Good general knowledge surrounding a multitude of mainstream sports
• Able to work independently but also able to communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
