Spray Painter, Night Shift

We're recruiting Spray Painters to join a leading manufacturing business in Plains, Airdrie. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering a permanent night shift, competitive pay and genuine long-term career opportunities.

• Permanent Night Shift
• 39-hour week - Monday to Thursday
• Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
• Regular overtime available at enhanced rates

As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding and filling prior to painting
• Mixing paints and coatings to the required specifications
• Applying primer, base coats and top coats using spray painting equipment
• Achieving a high-quality finish while meeting production and quality standards
• Masking and protecting surfaces before painting
• Inspecting completed work to ensure a consistent finish and identifying any defects for rework
• Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, booths and painting equipment
• Assisting with setting up workstations and ensuring materials are readily available
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of paints and chemicals
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Previous experience as a Spray Painter, Paint Sprayer or within an industrial, automotive or manufacturing paint environment
• Experience using spray painting equipment and working to a high standard of finish
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and committed to working permanent night shifts
