Stock Accounts Payable in Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Are you organised, detail-oriented and experienced in Accounts Payable? We are currently recruiting for a Stock Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and an eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier/international invoices relating to stock purchases.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Investigating stock and invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments.
• Ensuring invoices are accurately coded and processed within agreed deadlines.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end procedures.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

About You:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger is desirable.
• Experience dealing with stock invoices and purchase orders would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel – to an intermediate level.
• A proactive approach to resolving queries and meeting deadlines.
