Stone Mason

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Stonemason to work on a stone building in Wigan, carrying out repairs to cracked and damaged stonework.

Duties:

• Repairing cracks and damage to existing stonework
• Carefully removing and replacing damaged sections where required
• Repointing and repairing joints
• Matching existing stonework and finishes
• Carrying out detailed restoration and remedial works
• Ensuring repairs blend seamlessly with the existing building
• Working safely around the building and following site instructions
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Stonemason
• Previous experience repairing and restoring existing stone buildings
• Strong attention to detail and quality of finish
• Ability to identify and repair cracks and defects in stonework
• Relevant CSCS card preferred
• Own tools and PPE
• Reliable and able to work independently
