Are you an organised and reliable Stores Person looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Poole for someone to join their busy stores team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring materials and stock are received, stored and distributed efficiently to support production.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and booking in deliveries
- Picking and issuing materials to production
- Stock control and inventory management
- Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Keeping the stores area organised, clean and safe
- Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or goods-in role
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Good computer and organisational skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Counterbalance Forklift licence or experience is desirable, but not essential
- Early finish every Friday
- Monday to Friday days only – no weekend work
