The Job You’ll Do:

• Responsible for managing a team of between 2 - 5 stores staff
• Implement overall organisation and structure to the stores department, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the business
• Controlling and allocating parts numbers
• Increase stock accuracy
• Assisting the dispatch team when needed
• Liaising with production and engineering teams to understand their needs and help the company operate more efficiently
• Identify areas for improvement or cost saving

About You:

• Experience working as a Senior Operator or preferably a management position within a stores department
• A background within engineering/manufacturing
• A good level of PC/IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Experience using ERP systems (Navision is highly desirable)
• Well organised, methodical and a logical thinker
• Able to manage a small team effectively without constant support
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
