The Role

We are looking for a professional with expert knowledge of asset management within a Total Facilities Management (TFM) environment, supported by experience in technical services delivery.

You will play a key role in shaping the approach to asset management, improving governance, and ensuring asset data is effectively used to support lifecycle planning, investment decisions, risk management, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver asset management objectives defined within the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Asset Management System Framework (AMSF) across the estate.
  • Embed AMSF business process standards and consistent ways of working across teams.
  • Provide financial and asset intelligence, including financial management reporting, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Translate asset data, including condition, performance, risk, and lifecycle information, into strategic and financial insight.
  • Support lifecycle planning, asset investment planning, and prioritisation across M&E and building fabric assets.
  • Act as the focal point for asset management governance, assurance, and audit readiness, including ISO 55001 alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, management reviews, and improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client teams, technical services, PMO, finance, and suppliers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Expert knowledge of asset management principles within a TFM or large estate environment.
  • Experience developing and delivering Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMP) aligned with ISO 55001.
  • Strong understanding of asset performance, lifecycle planning, risk management, and investment decision-making.
  • Ability to translate technical asset data into strategic and financial outputs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • IAM Certificate or Diploma in Asset Management.
  • ISO 55001 Lead/Internal Auditor training or experience supporting audits and certification.
  • A full UK driving licence (car/car allowance provided).
