Structural Engineer

London | £30,000 to £36,000 | Permanent | Hybrid

If you're an early-career Structural Engineer looking to build your experience across residential and refurbishment projects, this could be a great next step.

We're looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 to 3 years' experience to join an established consultancy, working from either its London Bridge or Orpington office.

You'll get hands-on involvement in live projects while continuing to develop your technical design and modelling experience.

What you'll be doing

• Working across residential and refurbishment projects
• Supporting the design of concrete frame structures
• Carrying out structural analysis and FEA modelling
• Contributing to cladding and structural design packages
• Producing calculations and technical information
• Working alongside experienced Structural Engineers on project delivery

What we're looking for

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Around 2 to 3 years' structural engineering experience
• Experience with residential and refurbishment projects
• Exposure to concrete frame design
• Experience with FEA modelling
• Knowledge of Tekla, Tedds and Revit
• An interest in continuing to develop technically within consultancy

The opportunity

This is a permanent position paying £30,000 to £36,000, depending on experience.

You'll have a hybrid working arrangement, typically spending 2 to 3 days per week in the office, with the choice of London Bridge or Orpington.
