Salary: £24,972 - £27,062 per annum pro rata of £28,031 - £30,378 per annum pro rata of annum - SS3
Job type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027 (37 hours per week, over 40 weeks per year)

The Role:
It's an exciting time to join University College Birmingham. Our Further Education provision is continuing to grow, and we are investing in a new FE Inclusion Team to strengthen the support available to students and curriculum teams.
We are seeking motivated and compassionate Student Inclusion Officers to provide a visible and responsive presence across our FE College. You will work alongside Personal Tutors, curriculum teams and specialist services to support students experiencing barriers to attendance, engagement, behaviour, participation or belonging.
Learners with SEND and additional needs will receive particular priority, including those whose needs may be emerging or not yet formally identified. Support will also remain available to other learners experiencing significant barriers or a risk of disengagement.
This is a purposeful, student-facing role for someone who can build positive relationships, listen without judgement and help students take practical steps towards re-engaging with their learning.
