Sub Agent in Teesside

A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Sub Agent to join an established civil engineering organisation. The role will involve supporting the Site Agent with the  delivery of civil engineering schemes.

The Company

An established civil engineering and infrastructure specialist, delivering projects including highways, public realm and active travel schemes.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Agent in managing site activities, engineers, subcontractors and the wider site team.
• Assisting with the development and review of RAMS, construction phase plans and site documentation.
• Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Assisting with the development and monitoring of weekly programmes and key deliverables.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance and procurement schedules.
• Ensuring accurate site records and handover documentation are maintained.
• Supporting the successful delivery of civil engineering projects valued up to £5m.

Experience Required

• HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
• Gold CSCS card or higher.
• 5-day SMSTS.
• Understanding of NEC contracts and commercial processes.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
