Sub Agent

We are working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Sub-Agent for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sub-Agent or ambitious Site Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. Working on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

As the Sub-Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Site Agent in the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion
• Managing and coordinating site activities, subcontractors and site-based teams
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications and quality requirements
• Assisting with planning, programming and monitoring progress on site
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance
• Liaising with the project team, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives to resolve issues and maintain progress

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience working as a Sub-Agent, Site Agent, Senior Site Engineer or similar position within civil engineering
• A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and project delivery
• Experience managing site teams and coordinating subcontractors
• Good knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
