Job Overview:
- Start Date: asap
- Duration: 3 months, with extension
- Rate of Pay: £300-320 per day DOE
- Hours: Mon-Fri, Nights – typically 19:00/20:00 start, finishing around 05:00–06:00
- Qualifications/Cards Needed: PC Supervisor experience, SMSTS/SSSTS, Gold CSCS card, 3 day first aid
- Experience Needed: supervising contractors on National Highways / SDF contracts is highly desirable.
- Payment Options: CIS
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors on night shifts across the Bromford Viaduct works.
- Induct all personnel arriving on site and ensure correct access procedures.
- Deliver pre-start briefings and ensure all teams understand nightly work plans.
- Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with National Highways standards.
- Check and maintain ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and ensure paperwork is accurate and up to date.
- Oversee safe working practices and intervene where required.
- Ensure the road is ready for reopening at the required time each morning.
- Work independently – no site manager present at night; responsibility sits with the two supervisors.
