Supply Chain Planner (Contract)

Peterborough

Salary up to £18.00 DOE

6-month contract

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated Supply Chain Planner to support daily operations across key functional areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early Supply Chain experience to build on their skills within a structured, supportive environment.

Location & Working Pattern

• Initial training: 5 days onsite (approx. 3 weeks)
• Thereafter: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
• Monday to Friday, flexible office hours

Key Responsibilities

• Support creation of master production schedules
• Assist with material planning aligned to demand
• Maintain daily Supply Chain operations
• Work across materials, logistics, inventory and order fulfilment
• Ensure customer and business requirements are met
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers

Essential Requirements

• Experience with ERP or MRP systems
• Supplier management experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Numerical confidence and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Internship or equivalent Supply Chain experience

Desirable

• SAP exposure
• Manufacturing or automotive sector experience
