Supply Chain Planner
Job Description
- Develop and maintain material supply plans using forecasts, production schedules, and MRP systems to ensure materials are available when required.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, and resolve potential supply issues to minimise disruption.
- Monitor inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce excess stock while maintaining service levels.
- Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to support manufacturing schedules and business objectives.
- Track supply chain performance, maintain accurate planning records, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner, or similar planning role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and MRP/ERP systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
