Teach Now is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants for flexible primary-school work across Barnet from September.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, no two assignments need to look the same. You could support a Reception class one day, work alongside pupils in KS2 the next, or provide focused SEN support where your experience is most valuable.
You’ll support schools by:
- Working alongside teachers to keep pupils engaged.
- Supporting individuals and small groups.
- Helping pupils access differentiated activities.
- Providing additional support for SEND pupils where required.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines.
- Quickly becoming a reliable part of each school team.
Experienced, dependable Teaching Assistants who can adapt quickly and build rapport with children and staff. Previous UK primary-school experience is strongly preferred. TA qualifications and SEND experience are advantageous.
Why become a Supply Teaching Assistant?
You’ll earn £90–£100 per day while gaining experience across different schools, age groups and approaches to teaching. Supply work can offer excellent flexibility without stepping away from the classroom.
