Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join Sunderland Care and Support. These are temporary contracts for 3-6 months working on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect in all aspects of care.
• Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care where required, and community engagement.
• Build positive relationships with service users, their families and colleagues.
• Encourage individuals to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.

About You

• Previous experience in a support worker or care role
• A caring and person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
