Mental Health Support Worker – Supporting Young Adults Back into the Community

Sentra Care is looking for experienced, compassionate female Mental Health Support Workers for a specialist service supporting young adults transitioning back into the community. What we're looking for
We want caring, reliable support workers who can build genuine relationships with service users and support their independence and quality of life. This is a specialist role and we can only consider applicants with the experience below:

  • Acute or forensic mental health experience
  • Direct experience supporting people with a Personality Disorder (PD) diagnosis
  • A confident, consistent approach to setting and holding boundaries, even under pressure
  • Female (a genuine occupational requirement for this specific placement)

What you'll need

  • 1 year's paid experience as a mental health support worker within the last 2 years
  • Right to work in the UK — no visa sponsorship available
  • We're unable to accept restricted-hours visas, as this role requires consistent hours to maintain continuity of care
  • Flexibility to work 3 days a week
  • A current DBS on the Update Service

Sentra Care is unable to offer Tier 2 visa sponsorship for this role. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, right to work verification, and two satisfactory references from care employers.
