Guroe Care Ltd is looking for experienced, compassionate and reliable Support Workers in Shropshire to work across care and supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.

• Support medication administration, where trained and authorised.

• Follow individual care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and service users.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of relevant Support Worker experience.

• Mandatory practical training: Candidates must hold the practical training required for the role and placement. If you need guidance on the specific training requirements, our recruitment team can advise you.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

• Valid right to work in the UK.

• Good communication skills and a professional, caring attitude.

• Flexibility to work agency shifts, including days, nights and weekends, depending on availability.

Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs would be advantageous.
