Sustainability Reporting Analyst

Are you a Sustainability Reporting Analyst with a strong interest in data analytics, sustainability and using technology to turn complex information into meaningful insight? A leading international organisation is looking for an analytical and curious individual to help develop its sustainability reporting and ESG analytics capability. This is an evolving role with significant scope to grow as reporting requirements, technology and data maturity develop. You will create reports, dashboards, calculations and new ways of analysing sustainability data, while exploring how AI and digital solutions can improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop sustainability dashboards, scorecards and management reports.
- Analyse data from multiple sources and translate it into clear business insights.
- Create new reports, formulas, calculations and reporting methodologies.
- Support ESG data accuracy, governance and audit-readiness.
- Monitor sustainability objectives, KPIs, actions and performance trends.
- Explore AI-assisted tools and technology to improve data collection and reporting.
- Support sustainability reporting requirements, including CSRD readiness.
- Work with teams across operations, finance, HR, supply chain and engineering.
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in sustainability and ESG reporting.
- Have a strong interest in data analytics and working with complex information.
- Be confident using Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Show enthusiasm for AI, automation and new technology solutions.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate data and findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently with a proactive, curious and growth-focused approach.
- Power BI or sustainability reporting framework experience would be advantageous.
Previous extensive sustainability experience is not the key requirement. Most important is genuine interest in the role, strong analytical ability and the motivation to learn and develop.
Working Pattern and Benefits
The role will be office-based for the first 2–3 months to support training, onboarding and integration into the wider team. Following successful onboarding, the position will move to a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
