About the role…

As a System Support Engineer at Core Controls, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients’ control systems. You play a vital role in conducting regular maintenance activities, identifying potential issues, and implementing preventive measures to minimise downtime.

As a Systems Support Engineer you will…

  • Travel across the UK to conduct routine maintenance activities on our clients’ system controls equipment and components according to maintenance schedules and established procedures.
  • Provide technical support to our clients, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting system issues, and resolving problems efficiently to minimise stoppage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the installation process.
  • Negotiate with the supply chain to obtain the best pricing possible

About you…

You’re a practical, customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in control systems and automation. You thrive in fast-paced environments, responding quickly to issues and delivering reliable solutions that minimise downtime. Adaptable and hands-on, you’re confident working independently on-site while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and documentation.

You will be required to carry a phone 24/7 and must be available to a customer call out where necessary. Participate in the System Support London on-call rota where you will be required to stay in London for 1 week.
