The successful candidate will join a supportive Design & Technology faculty and play a key role in delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students through practical and theory-based learning experiences.
• Develop students' knowledge of nutrition, food preparation, health, and safety.
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that engage and challenge learners of all abilities.
• Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Design & Technology curriculum and department initiatives.

We welcome applications from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Have experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical education.
• Can motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.

• Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Experience teaching Food Preparation & Nutrition at GCSE level would be highly advantageous, although not essential.
