Throughout the year, you'll develop the confidence and practical skills you'll need to take the next step into teaching.

Year 2: Train to Become a Teacher

Following a successful first year, you'll progress into formal teacher training and work towards your PGCE and QTS.

You'll continue gaining hands-on classroom experience while developing your skills in:

  • Planning and delivering lessons
  • Classroom and behaviour management
  • Assessing pupil progress
  • Adapting lessons for different abilities and learning needs
  • Building your confidence as a classroom teacher
  • Developing your professional teaching practice
What You'll Get
  • £23,000 - £26,000 salary
  • Fully funded PGCE
  • The opportunity to work towards QTS
  • Practical classroom experience from day one
  • Training and support from experienced education professionals
  • A structured two-year route into teaching
  • The opportunity to develop your career within a school environment
Who Are We Looking For?

  • A recent graduate exploring teaching as a career
  • A career changer looking to move into education
  • Confident communicating and working with young people
  • Positive, resilient and comfortable taking on responsibility
