The Role
As a Teaching Assessor – Careers Development Professional (CEIAG), you'll deliver and assess the Level 6 Career Development Professional Apprenticeship Standard, alongside Level 3, Level 4, and Level 6 standalone Careers qualifications where required.
You'll provide high-quality teaching, coaching, assessment, and learner support through a blended delivery model, ensuring apprentices successfully achieve their qualifications while meeting apprenticeship funding and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 6 Career Development Professional Apprenticeship programmes
- Assess learners through coaching, teaching, and workplace assessment
- Manage a caseload of apprentices and maintain learner progress
- Deliver engaging face-to-face, remote, and group learning sessions
- Develop personalised learning plans to meet employer and learner needs
- Maintain accurate learner records using e-portfolio systems
- Embed Functional Skills, safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion throughout delivery
- Monitor learner progress against apprenticeship standards and funding requirements
- Conduct learner reviews and support timely achievement
- Participate in quality assurance, standardisation, and Ofsted preparation activities
- Work closely with employers to maximise learner success and programme impact
- Identify progression opportunities and contribute to learner recruitment targets
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an experienced Teaching Assessor, Skills Coach, Apprenticeship Coach, Trainer Assessor, Careers Adviser, or Careers Development Professional with experience delivering Career Development Apprenticeships and regulated qualifications.
You'll ideally have
- Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance, Learning & Development, or equivalent
- Level 5 Teaching qualification or equivalent
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering Career Development Professional Apprenticeships
- Knowledge of End-Point Assessment and apprenticeship standards
- Experience within Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)
- Strong understanding of Ofsted EIF, apprenticeship funding, and quality compliance
- Experience supporting SEND, disadvantaged, and vulnerable learners
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel nationally and manage a diverse learner caseload
