Destination Education is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Male Teaching Assistant for a full-time, ongoing opportunity at a well-established secondary school in the Romford area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, building positive relationships and making a genuine difference to students' education and development.
THE ROLE
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Supporting students aged 11–18.
- Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils.
- Helping students remain engaged, focused and motivated.
- Supporting positive behaviour and student development.
- Building strong, professional relationships with students.
- £110–£120 per day, depending on experience.
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged students.
- Confident, approachable and able to build rapport with young people.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Proactive, patient and resilient.
- Passionate about supporting young people's academic and personal development.
Based in Harold Hill, Romford (RM3).
Nearest railway station: Harold Wood (Elizabeth line), approximately 1.2 miles away, with local bus connections.
