Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

Salary: £95-£120 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant in Lincoln to support students across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
  • Assist students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement.
  • Prepare classroom resources and assist with classroom organisation.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).
  • Is patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
