Protocol Education is working with a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist schools across Bristol, offering flexible day-to-day supply, long-term and full-time opportunities with immediate starts available.

We are looking for passionate, reliable and enthusiastic support staff who can help pupils access learning and develop their confidence, independence and wellbeing.

Depending on your experience and preference, opportunities may include:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Supporting classroom learning and activities.
• Assisting with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Providing social, emotional and pastoral support.
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
• Preparing classroom resources and learning materials.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA, Learning Support Assistant or similar is desirable.
• Relevant experience working with children or young people.
• SEND experience is highly desirable for SEN TA opportunities.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work across different schools and year groups.
• Reliable, professional and committed to supporting pupil progress.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
