Teaching Assistant

Location: Sale, Greater Manchester
Pay: £92.63 – £105 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Special Needs School in Sale. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a range of additional needs.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Applicants must have previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including one or more of the following:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

• ADHD

• Speech and Language Difficulties

• Hearing Impairments

You should be confident in adapting your approach to meet individual needs and be committed to promoting positive outcomes for every pupil.

• Previous experience working in a SEND school or similar setting.

• Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

• Flexible, proactive, and able to work as part of a team.

• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

• Competitive daily pay of £92.63 – £130, depending on experience.
