Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant ALN on a long-term contract commencing in September. The successful candidate will support secondary-aged pupils with PMLD, working closely with class teachers and the wider ALN department to facilitate access to learning within a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking for a proactive, patient, and adaptable professional who can respond effectively to the diverse needs of the classroom.

Key Attributes of the Successful Teaching Assistant ALN:

• Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD
• A compassionate and patient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• A proactive and flexible attitude towards supporting learning
• Experience working within a secondary school or ALN setting
