Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools across Loughborough and Coalville.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive difference in their education and development. Whether you have previous classroom experience or are looking to start a rewarding career in education, we would love to hear from you.
The RoleAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
- Help children develop their skills, confidence, and knowledge.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) are essential.
- Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
